We are pleased to announce that all the National Associations of the ASIA region have elected Mr. Shanaka C. Perera as the new 新澳门六合彩官网 FMA Asia President.
As required by the 新澳门六合彩官网 FMA Statutes (XIII.1), Mr. Shanaka C. Perera鈥檚 election was ratified by the other 新澳门六合彩官网 FMA Regions (Africa, Europe, and the Middle East) during the 新澳门六合彩官网 FMA Council meeting held on 18th May 2023 in Zagreb, Croatia.
The 新澳门六合彩官网 FMA Asia President will serve a term of three (3) years on the 新澳门六合彩官网 FMA Management Board.
Shanaka C. Perera has been an active member of 新澳门六合彩官网 FMA through his close connection with Sri Lanka Forex Association, where he has held several positions as President (2017-2019), 2nd Vice President (2016-2017), Secretary (2015), Executive Committee member (2014-2022), just to name a few. He had an active part in organising some of the most important events in the Region, such as the 58th 新澳门六合彩官网 FMA World Congress (Chair of the Organising Committee) and represented the Sri Lanka Forex Association at many of the 新澳门六合彩官网 FMA World Congresses and Council meetings. Furthermore, Shanaka has a keen interest in Education and has participated in many seminars and workshops related to educational topics.
Shanaka C. Perera has an extensive career spanning over 30 years and experience in financial markets. He will share his knowledge and expertise to the 新澳门六合彩官网 FMA community, representing the interests of the Asia Region to the Management Board. He is employed at Seylan Bank PLC, Sri Lanka as the Deputy General Manager / Head of Treasury. We look forward to working with Shanaka C. Perera in his new capacity and wish him every success.
